The brief

Linnet make three products and wanted a film as quiet as the range. Forty-five seconds, no music until the end, and nothing that looked like a studio.

The shoot

A first-floor flat with one good window. We shot between ten and two, when the light came round, with a single reflector and a diffusion frame. The stills were pulled from the footage, so the photographer's day rate went on a second shoot day instead.

The cut

The film holds every shot a second longer than feels comfortable, which is the idea. Six ten-second edits followed, one per product and three for the launch week.
